Options are Visibility Group, Courtesy Light Group,Passenger side-view mirror, AM radio only. Upholstery is very nice with no splits or rips and carpet just needs a little cleaning. The body and exterior badging and rocker wheelwell moldings are in beautiful condition. The car was missing the grille badge and inside rearview mirror. Almost all interior chrome is pitted, steering wheel has usual cracks and the wheel's spokes are pitted. Dash also is cracked in usual places and oddly on the top of the instrument pad running 3-4 inches along the width.Family owned since new. Said to have been originally purchased in Palm Springs, CA.
The reason I had never seen the car is that since 1988 when
the car was taken down to bare metal and painted, it had
only been driven 3,000 miles.- Editor |

Fern Pinto |
Fern bought it in 1977 for $2000. It came with a 428 xl parts car. The guy he got it from started the restoration. The hood, doors, fenders, trunk lid are all ready for paint. All the small parts are blasted and primed. 428 needs to be rebuilt. 4 speed has a hurst shifter all there but no bell-housing ,z bar or the rod that goes through the fire wall. He is just waiting to get new quarters. The car is just a rolling frame and shell at this time. Going to pull the frame and blast it. The floor and trunk are in good shape . The interior is complete, but drivers seat has a crack. It does have a Tach which he said was a dealer install. |

Purchased by owner second hand in the fall of 1967 in Regina, Saskatchewan - believed original owner purchased new there. Owned since that time. Drove regularly until early 1980s and stored in a heated garage since. Transported for frame off/rotisserie restoration at a commercial establishment in Alberta in 2008 and work has been progressing sporadically since. |

Jim's dad bought the car new from his grandfather who was the manager at Marshall Ford in Mayfield Ohio. It was driven for about 20 years, then it sat for about 10 years until I totally disassembled the car. It has been like that ever since. The car has 100,000 original miles and all parts are original factory. The car is in need of total restoration. |

A very sad story. This extremely rare car is being parted out because of its condition. Jason realizes he can make more off it as a parts car, as no one wants pay 3k for for it. One of only 83 left in the world, and it will go the way of the buzzards. |

Philip bought the car in 2006. Rare 4speed. We are looking into the "E" classification for the 4speed as opposed to the usual "5".
Also, the car appears to have been changed from the everpopular Candyapple Red on Red TO Blue on Black. Most people take 7-Litres and paint them red. |
